From the Office of the Zo^o University Alumni Association President ------------------------------------------------------------------- GREETINGS fellow Alumni! As President of the Zo^o University Alumni Association, I have been traveling and visiting with as many of our members as possible. The Alumni Association has always been active in keeping in touch with graduates and providing Zo^o University with feedback that will help improve the programs, classes, and research at Zo^o University. As predicted, our members are reporting significantly more progress in younger, more-agile organizations. (That is, organizations that are younger and less-lethargic -- not organizations of younger, more-agile people!) The University has continued to support the Alumni Association. We thank them for their wonderful support. We have again exceeded our membership goals. We have received enthusiastic response at meetings with members of the next graduating class. The next issue of The Alumni Association Newsletter is in the final planning stages. (If you have any last-minute inputs, you need to get them to the editor right away.) I would like to remind all Alumni to make certain the information in the Alumni Association Directory is correct and current. (Please check the directory on-line and let us know promptly if any changes need to be made.) Also, keep your resume up-to-date. As you apply the knowledge you gained at Zo^o University, those experiences are of great interest to creditable employers and potential clients. The Alumni office continues to be contacted by people wanting copies of the resumes for every alumni of Zo^o University. While we all appreciate interest in our members and in those who will be graduating in this next term, too many of these inquiries are from those who only want to collect and sell personal information, and not to offer employment. (FPR, sigh) Thank you all for your suggestions for new items to be added to our Alumni Association Catalog. Negotiations with potential sources should begin shortly. While the association secretary is away on special assignment, the office hours may be a bit sporadic. (Always check before you call.) Until next time, remember: "Principles are principles, ethics are ethics, wherever you go. Just don't assume that those of others are the same as yours." -- Prezz'
